6 retired academics join Lok Satta Party
WARANGAL: Six former principals of different degree colleges joined Lok Satta Party here on Friday.
T. Sudhakar Reddy and K. Prabhakar Reddy (CKM College), Jagannatha Rao (LB College), V. Subba Rao (Padmavathi Women’s College), P. Dayakar (Arts College), M.A. Kareem (Masterji Degree College) and A. Krishnamurthy, chairman of Padmavathi Women’s College, joined the Lok Satta Party in the presence of senior leader Parcha Kodandarama Rao.
Speaking to press persons, retired academics T. Sudhakar Reddy and K. Prabhakar Reddy and others said the existing political parties utterly failed to raise up to the expectations of the people and the leaders proved themselves a failure over the decades. The political leaders had lost all decency and were amassing wealth at the cost of people.
The Lok Satta, which had emerged to restore the true spirit of democracy, would get all the support.
“We will play our part in strengthening the hands of Jayaprakash Narayan,” Mr. Sudhakar Reddy and Mr. Prabhakar Reddy said. The academics said they would strive to work for the victory of Mr. Kodandarama Rao contesting from Warangal (West) Assembly Constituency in the ensuing elections.
