Party of Jayaparkash Narayan may not have won any seats but it has put up a decent show. The party’s candidate in Khairatabad polled a creditable 58,407 votes.
The TRs was relegated to the third position. The party managed to polls just 54,134 votes despite the fact that it fielded a minority candidate and the constituency has a very high percentage o minority votes.
